I read a lot.
And I just always have.
Reading is where - and how - my brain settles. It’s how I unwind, cope, and how I fill the quiet spaces.
Some people scroll or watch TV...I open another book.
Over the years, that has turned into 200+ books annually, multiple formats at once, and a tracking system that looks suspiciously like a hobby disguised as data entry.
This Substack is where I document that life.
You’ll find weekly Reading Ledgers with:
What I finished
What I loved
What I side-eyed
What I reread (without apology)
And what Sir Reginald Clucksworth III, my formalwear-clad poultry auditor, classified the books on the Poultry-Based Spice Index
Not everything I read is smut. But a fair percentage is. Be warned and behave accordingly.
I participate in reading challenges for sport. I reread comfort books shamelessly. I DNF without guilt. I track my reading because it delights me and I love to look back and reflect on what I’ve read.
This space is for joyful reading…whatever that looks like for me, and you!
Structured chaos. Mild feral energy. No productivity pressure…I read 200 books a year, you don’t have to!
Occasionally, I’ll link to books I mention. Some of those links may be affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them at no extra cost to you. I only link books I’ve actually read or actively recommend.
If you’ve ever been told you read “too much,” welcome.
You’re in good company, because I’m pretty freaking awesome, and so is Sir Reginald.
